The Silicone.

Made to become thousands of silicone dildos.

The Dodil has a liquid silicone formula which is quite unique and makes for being shaped into a multitude of silicone dildos. Being both soft and extremely flexible it will stretch and cover any crevice, ridge or bump made you create from the inside moldable thermoplastic.

With your pleasure and health in focus, all our silicone dildos are:

  Phthalate Free
We don't use plasticizers that risk containing phthalates, instead we use a liquid silicone formula which makes the cover of our dildo soft and pliable.

  Hypoallergenic
The liquid silicone is hypoallergenic, often found used as a high-end material in surgery and medicinal use.

Non-toxic
We only use FDA-approved pigments and any fillers or additives are free from cadmium, led and alike.

  Able to be deep-cleaned
A temperature of ~160 degrees Fahrenheit is actually all you need to kill 99% of all germs. And by heating the Dodil to become moldable, you automatically deep-clean it.

  Strange, in a good way
The feel of our silicone is a bit different, if you are used to other dildos or sex toys. It's incredibly smooth, with a hint of drag (lubricant is recommended, as for any sex toy). This is because we don't add stuff to make it "silky smooth". It already comes out as smooth, and stretchy.

We are proud of our silicone. We are constantly developing it to be able to make even more playful adult toys for you to customize.

A brief but body-safe history.

Silicone is a young material, used in sex toys it dates back to the 60’s. But it wasn’t until the late 90’s that the first silicone dildos started developing into the body-safe sex toys we are used to nowadays.

Prior to that, it was a huge problem finding something that would care for your body, and sadly it still is. With sex toys being unregulated a manufacturer can claim that their materials are body-safe, non-toxic etc. That's why it's more important than ever to choose a material that is proven to uphold those characteristics.

Silicone dildos (and sex toys alike) would be the obvious and best choice. Sadly, they are not the only rubber material on the market. A terrifying amount of dildos produced and sold are of questionable quality and could end up harming you.

As much as 8 out of 10 larger dildos (10 inches and above) are made using PVC, which are likely to contain both toxic ingredients and phthalates.

So, stay healthy and go for the safer materials, even if it costs a few bucks more - there is no price tag on your health.

What's a silicone dildo made of?

Silicone is made out of silica, a material found everywhere on our planet, mostly in the form of sand.

And as we have an abundance of it, it's pretty cheap to produce silicone. And, it does less of an impact on the environment than other rubbers or plastics produced.

What a great way to indulge in some 'sex from the beach'.

Silicone dildos are porous.

A common misunderstanding is that silicone is non-porous. And by such, there are no cavities for moist and ultimately bacteria to grow in.

When in fact silicone is porous. Or micro-porous.

There is, however, one remarkable ability that silicone holds, which is referred to as "hydrophobic" (water-fearing). Being hydrophobic means, in a way, that a silicone surface avoids "splitting" liquid molecules upon contact.

Imagine a droplet of water. When landing on a surface that droplet can split and melt into the cavities and pores of the material. While a hydrophobic material, like silicone, will have the droplet dance around in the shape of a beautiful sphere.

Silicone makes that droplet dance.

This ability greatly reduces the risk of getting infected from a silicone dildo, since without water and nutrition, bacteria can not grow.

silicone dildos are porous but will not attract water

Water droplets landing on the Dodil will simply dance away in the shape of beautiful spheres.
